(Getting to know each other)
(Stuck in traffic)Well, we finally finished our new car experience - by getting our Jetta sold. Jaime and I had a bit of an emotional night last night - we've had a lot of milestones with the Jetta - it was our first big purchase together (back in June of '05); It got us to Kansas and back; It got Jaime down to Napa for our wedding, carried us around on our wedding day, and got us home; It got us to Portland to visit family and friends numerous times; It made many safe, fun, torque happy drives to the cabin and back; it was relatively maintenance free; and it did all of this while continuously returning 42-44mpg. And a big thank you to Ryan and Michal for giving us a sweet deal in the beginning!
So Jetta, we wish you well with your new owner, and can only hope that you will continue to serve someone else so well!!!
